What can I expect during the online visit?
1. Ensure you have completed all pre-visit steps and gathered the necessary tools.
2. Open or download Google Meet on your phone or preferred device.
3. Log into Google Meet at least 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment with the information sent to you.
4. Confirm that the device you will use is fully charged and portable enough to show all items the electrician may need to see.
5. The electrician will ask questions to assess your experience and comfort level with electrical work, working within that scope.
6. The electrician will inquire about the problem and plan troubleshooting steps accordingly.
7. The electrician will guide you through troubleshooting procedures to help resolve your issue.
8. We will attempt to turn off power to any items requiring servicing; however, there may be situations where you need to check live wires yourself. Please be honest and inform the electrician if you are uncomfortable with any instructions.
9. Be transparent about any previous repairs or work performed on your electrical system.
10. As the session concludes, the electrician will provide instructions for completing the repair or maintaining safety until a follow-up appointment or on-site visit.
11. After the appointment, you will receive a survey to rate the electrician and our service. Please take a moment to complete it and help us improve.
