1. Identify and label any items that are not in use or not functioning properly.

4. If you feel comfortable, remove the cover from the electrical panel.

5. Know the location of your electrical panel relative to the problem area.

6. Remove cover plates from any non-working items to facilitate inspection.

7. Be honest and inform the electrician of any previous repairs or work done on the system.

8. Have a fully charged phone or laptop with a camera ready.

9. Make sure you are available when the electrician is scheduled.

10. Purchase or have tools ready and available before the planned meeting

11. Download or bookmark the Google Meet app on your device for virtual communication, if needed.
